About TriMerge

Description

TriMerge is a challenging number matching game in the style of 2048 and Threes! Start matching the number tiles on the board and see what your highest score is!

Game genre

TriMerge is a number-solving game that is classified as a casual game. This game is easy to play with simple operations suitable for quick entertainment but also has enough depth to challenge your calculation ability. The highlight of TriMerge is the merge mechanism: players combine similar number tiles to create a larger value. The only exception is the formula 1 + 2 = 3. Thanks to that, the game is highly strategic when requiring players to observe and plan each move in advance.

How to play TriMerge

Move and merge mechanism

When you use the arrow keys to make all tiles slide in that direction. This means that a move always affects the entire board without moving individual tiles.

Merging occurs when two cells collide according to the rule:

Except for case 1 + 2 = 3.

From 3 and up: only merge with cells with identical values, for example, 3+3=6, 6+6=12, and 12+12=24.

You must observe and calculate for each move in the entire board, not just two number cells. Each swipe can create multiple merges at the same time or fill many cells. It is a comprehensive move that needs to be carefully considered when performing.

The strategy of the 1 + 2 = 3 rule

1 and 2 cannot merge by themselves: 1 does not merge with 1, and 2 does not merge with 2. If there are many 1 or 2 scattered, they are difficult to handle and easy to take up space. Therefore, 1 and 2 are resources that need to be managed

Match 1+2 early to create 3, turning the extra cells into real materials for further merging.

It’s best to keep the 1/2 area reserved or try to get 1 and 2 close together for quick merges.
