This game includes the following notable features:

Maps in the game

Airborne BMX currently has many maps with different settings. Tutorial #1 is the first area unlocked, while three other maps are still waiting for players to explore, including a forest, a snowy area, and a desert.

Diverse character system

Before starting each BMX race, players can select their desired character in the "Rider" section. Airborne BMX features a diverse roster of characters, rivaling that of Blocky Xtreme games, offering plenty of options for you to explore various BMX styles to your heart's content.

Some unlocked Riders include Matt Priest, Tom Dugan, Corey Bohan, Steve Crandall, Joe Rich, TJ Ellis, Matt Roe, Chris Doyle, and many others. Each Rider possesses a unique appearance and characteristics, making the riding experience more diverse instead of using just one character throughout the game.

Besides the available characters, Airborne BMX also features many mysterious riders waiting to be unlocked. This is also one of the factors that adds motivation for players to continue exploring and conquering the challenges in the game.

Airborne BMX controls

The controls in Airborne BMX are quite simple, mainly focusing on controlling speed and adjusting the center of gravity of the bike.

  • Space key: Press the Space key to move the bike forward.
  • W and D keys or up and right arrows: Move the center of gravity backward, causing the front wheel to lift and perform a wheelie.
  • W and A keys or up and left arrows: Move the center of gravity forward, causing the rear wheel to lift and perform a wheelie.

While the bike is in the air, adjusting your center of gravity at the right moment will help you control the bike's posture and land more safely.

Tips for going further in Airborne BMX

Airborne BMX is quite challenging because you not only need to keep the bike moving forward but also constantly control your center of gravity, lean angle, and posture upon landing. The following tips will help you minimize falls and progress further:

  • Prioritize balance over tricks: When you're new, don't try too many wheelies or spins. The most important thing is to keep the bike stable and land safely.
  • Adjust your center of gravity as soon as the bike leaves the ground: While airborne, observe the angle of the bike and use W + D to shift your center of gravity backward or W + A to shift it forward. Adjusting early is easier to control than waiting until close to landing.
  • Always prepare for the landing: Before the wheels touch the ground, bring the bike into a relatively balanced position. Landing at too steep an angle can easily cause the vehicle to flip over or lose control.
