Deadlock.io is an arcade io game about territory capture. Players control a character and run around to conquer as much territory as possible. The game brings a deadlock setting and 3 game modes.
This game has a similar gameplay as Paper io 2. Players control a character, run around and go back to their territory to claim that area. The objective is to capture the most part of the arena to rank first on the leaderboard.
There are 3 game modes available:
Classic: Conquer as much portion as you can to win.
Teams: Cooperate with your teammates to claim territory.
Battle Royale: Conquer territory and survive as the area shrinks.
So the most important objective of the game is to get as much portion of the area as you can. As you are not inside your territory, you are vulnerable to attack. And if other hits your tail, you will lose the game. The Battle Royale is challenging because the area will shrink as the game progresses. If you are not inside the playable area, you will lose the game.
To eliminate other players, you can try touching their trail. Other players will also try to do that to take you down. Therefore, you should be always careful as you are not in your territory. Don't pay too much attention in enlarging your territory because others can catch you off guard.
There are daily as well as regular achievements that you can try completing. It also brings various cosmetics and upgrades! You can explore that in the in-game shop.
The game was developed by DRA and released on November 2024. It's kind of a new game in the io games category.
