Red Ball: Another World takes you through a series of levels along paths designed for the red ball. While guardrails line the sides of the path, allowing you to control the ball without constantly worrying about it rolling off, wooden crates and gaps along the way require precise directional control and well-timed jumps.
Use the WASD keys to roll the ball in your desired direction. When you encounter obstacles or gaps, press the Space bar to make the ball bounce high and continue moving.
Wooden crates may block your way, but they are not fixed obstacles. When the ball collides with them, they are pushed aside by the impact, creating a gap for you to roll through.
Instead of trying to dodge them, actively steer the ball into the crates to push them aside. However, pay attention to your movement direction and the force of the impact so you do not accidentally push a crate into a position that blocks your path.
Gaps in the path are the most dangerous areas, as the side guardrails cannot protect the ball when the track is broken. You must control the ball carefully, combining forward movement with jumps to clear the gaps safely.
Build up speed before pressing the space bar, as the ball needs enough momentum to land on the other side. Jumping too early or failing to maintain forward momentum can cause the ball to fall.
Stars appear along the path for you to collect. Try to collect stars as you progress through the levels to achieve a higher star rating.
